Dallas Tuxedo , serial number 1154, one of the  first.

Made in the United Kingdom in 1961.

Sold in Europe (and distributed by Hohner) under the name HOHNER Zambesi (that's why the Zambesi pickguard)

This model is extremely rare to find (and high quality) , those guitars were only produced between 1960 and 1965, when the FENTON and Weill association fell short, making them particularly  hard to find for collector's guitars.

Honduran mahogany body with assembled top and assembled flamed maple back, Honduran mahogany assembled neck.
The particular electronics have never been changed : 3-position switch, the first 2 potentiometers are volumes: each one increases the sound of the selected microphone while reducing the second microphone.
The last knob is a General Tone.

Everything is original (including Hardcase) except the tailpiece and bridge-vibrato, which is in the same style and also from the period (mid 60's)
The bigsby type vibrato rod is not original and can be adapted in height.

Everything is functional, a very good sound (typical English pickups, in the style of the Trisonic Burns), the guitar is vibrant a,d is strong.

Some dents and signs of wear (see photos), used Hardcase, but guitar in good condition considering its age (and rarity).
